APPG for the Ocean re-formed

On the September 4th, parliamentarians re-formed the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) with Sarah Champion MP elected as the new Chair of the group, alongside fellow officers Baroness Jenny Jones, Tristan Osborne MP and Lord Sharpe.

The APPG for the Ocean seeks to provide a collective space where all parliamentarians can support and promote ocean research and awareness, to develop greater understanding of the ocean and its role in tackling challenges such as climate change, and to debate wider ocean issues.

Regular meetings will resume after the party conference recess!
