Society of Maritime Industries and Plymouth Marine Laboratory present to APPG

As a part of our ongoing inquiry into the Future of Ocean Technology, the APPG for the Ocean yesterday heard evidence from:

  • Emma Johnson, Director of Marine Science and Technology Group and Maritime Autonomous System Groups, Society of Maritime Industries

  • Professor Matthew Palmer, Head of Science for Digital Innovation & Marine Autonomy, Plymouth Marine Laboratory

The recently launched APPG inquiry on the ‘Future of Ocean Technology’ will look into the emerging technologies which are essential to the work of the future of the ocean, and at the innovative and modern approaches to sustainable ocean technology and infrastructure.

Thanks to Emma and Matthew for the evidence which will be key to our upcoming report on the future of ocean technology!
